• ~に基づいて (based on ~ / on the basis of ~)このレポートは調査の結果に基づいて書かれている。This report is written based on the results of the survey.
• ~ことから (from the fact that ~ / judging from ~)窓が開いていることから、誰かが部屋に入ったとわかった。From the fact that the window was open, I knew someone had entered the room.
