• ಎಷ್ಟು?How much / how many?
• ಯಾವುದು?Which one?
• ಎಷ್ಟು ಹಣ?How much money? (i.e. how much does it cost?)
• ಇದು ಏನು?What is this?
• ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ಎಲ್ಲಿದೆ?Where is the toilet? (lit. 'toilet where-is?')
• ನಿಮಗೆ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಬರುತ್ತಾ?Do you know English? (lit. 'to-you does English come?')
