• 比 (comparison — A 比 B + adjective)今天比昨天热。Today is hotter than yesterday.
• 正在 / 在…呢 (progressive — be doing right now)他正在睡觉呢。He is sleeping right now.
• 过 (experiential — have ever done; verb + 过)我去过北京。I have been to Beijing.
• 得 (degree complement — verb + 得 + adjective)他说得很好。He speaks very well.
• 又…又… (both… and… — two qualities at once)这个苹果又大又便宜。This apple is both big and cheap.
