The forgetting curve, simulated

Memory of anything new decays fast — unless you review it at the right moments. Drag the sliders to see how spaced repetition flattens the forgetting curve, using the same FSRS algorithm EverFlip schedules with. No signup, nothing to install.

Both lines use the real FSRS forgetting curve — the same one EverFlip schedules with. Study a card once and recall fades along the grey line. Review it each time you’re about to forget (the marks) and stability compounds: the blue line stays high while the gaps between reviews grow, so the same memory costs less and less time. A lower target retention means fewer reviews but more forgetting — your call.
